The Lifetime Bookstore has implemented an easy-to-use online ordering system, permitting our customers to order titles online, making payment by credit card through a Secure Commerce Server. The secure commerce system encrypts all data between your PC and our system, ensuring the privacy and security required to transmit personal and credit card information across the internet. Most browsers display a key or lock icon that will change to indicate when you have connected to a secure commerce system. With Netscape Navigator, the icon is in the lower left hand corner of the browser screen, and appears as a small gold key; the key is "broken" when using an unsecured connection, and it changes to an "unbroken" key when connected to a secure system.

To order online, locate the title you want, and indicate the quantity desired in the QUANTITY box for the listing. Please note that the default is 1, and need not be changed if you are ordering a single copy. Next, click on the "Add to Cart" button to place the item into your Electronic Shopping Cart. A screen will appear indicating that the item has been added to your cart. When you have finished shopping, click on the SHOPPING CART button, at the bottom of the menu bar on the left side of the screen. This will take you to your Electronic Shopping Cart; from this point, follow the simple on-screen instructions to finalize and send your order.

While online ordering is preferred, and we consider it to be as safe, secure, and efficient as a phone call, we can understand if a few people still don't have the comfort level to submit their credit card information online - and that's OK too!
